As Roger Santodomingo, President of the Board of Trustees, stated at the congregational meeting on Sunday, January 28, “We are experiencing a season of rejuvenation and renewal.” With about one month left in the year-long renovation of the main building, Cedar Lane Unitarian Universalist Congregation has the finish line of this grand project in sight.

Construction Updates: Behind the Scenes Hard Hat Tours
During August, nearly fifty Cedar Laners took advantage of hard hat tours behind the construction barriers. They got a first-hand taste of what the renovated building will be like. Drywall wasn’t up yet, so much of the skeleton, veins and arteries were visible. Everyone marveled at the complexity – and the upgrades we’ll enjoy.
Construction Updates: Waterproofing, Roof Raising, & More!
The construction crew has been busy! The Construction Task Force is pleased that renovations are going smoothly, and we greatly appreciate the congregation’s flexibility during this time of great change. Maryann Dillon, Co-Chair of the Construction Task Force, says, “I hope you're as excited as I am to see all the progress we're making. We're so pleased with our general contractor, Whitener Jackson, who's really looking out for us and staying on schedule and on budget!”
Join worship from anywhere!
At least through April 2, we will be all virtual for Sunday morning worship. Sunday School is the only thing being held on campus in the Chalice House.

Larry Stalzer - Construction Task Force Member Profile
The Construction Task Force comprises many talented volunteers from the congregation with a breadth and depth of experience to ensure the success of the renovation project. Starting this week and throughout the project, we will share interviews of task force members so that you can get to know us better. This week, we talked with Larry Stalzer who is serving as the Owner’s Representative for Cedar Lane throughout the renovation process.

Starting on March 12 and for 3-4 weeks, we are encouraging folks to attend church virtually. If you would like to join an online watch party hosted in your or a fellow congregant’s home, here’s how to get started.
Planning is Underway for Changes to Sunday Services and More Starting in March
The Construction Task Force is working hard to prepare the way for construction activities to begin in early March. For the past two weeks, we have been addressing outstanding concerns prior to the start of construction on March 6. We have consulted with key stakeholders to determine when and where various activities of the congregation will take place in the initial stage of the renovation.
